Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Related International Organizations Sign Assistance Agreements to Fulfill Commitments of Humanitarian Assistance
To actively implement the Chinese government’s commitments of humanitarian assistance, Chinese Deputy International Trade Representative Zhang Xiangchen signed agreements with the World Food Programme, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross respectively recently. According to the agreements, the Chinese government will provide non-reimbursable assistance funds to the above international organizations,= and offer humanitarian assistance to the refugees and displaced person of Middle East countries. At present, Chinese Ministry of Commerce is discussing with the above international organizations to arrange the implementation work of the assistance projects and combat the current humanitarian crisis.
